PET scans circa 1998 to 2002

I took some disposable and Canon point-and-shoot photos of my pets during my pre-tween years, hahah. Then BOP, M and J-14 subscriptions took over and ruined me. Soon Teen Vogue YM and Seventeen plagued my self-image. I eventually returned to the simpler freegan lifestyle doe.
Rest in peace my feathered friends!

JEWLY REEL: 'Is that him right there?'

I was totally on a reel roll, but now I'm trying to catch up on an August and September cell video compilation. JEWLY REEL has bits of ATX, 4th of July, ASIDE, UNIQUE LA Renegade Arts Fair and more.
Whoever thumbs downed my video must have something against me. Looking back at it, I think I know where I screwed up. Look, I didn't mean to not put you on my Myspace Top 5 a while back. Forgive me!

Green eggs and HAMon!

For the whippersnappers: Pre-Photoshop artist and pre-Instagram photographer Alfred Gescheidt

Alfred Gescheidt is the ultimate charmer from his greeting card book Cat Places to distortedly whimsical collages of the human figure and face.
Many of his published pieces trace back to the '40s and '70s, but his work is still totally risque, relevant and replicated today.

From FYeah Fest to FNO LA (Fashion Night Out)

Melrose and Beverly Center, Los Angeles, Calif Thursday, September 6, 2012

Compared to NYC's Fashion Night Out, LA has it much harder with its scattered designer streets and frumpy fashionistas.
However, the night event designed to boost the fashion industry four years ago, has been holding on nonetheless.
Complimentary food and booze from Cake Mix to The Original Penguin were sights for sore eyes.
My friends and I kicked off the night at David's under construction The Coffee Joint and headed to Fred Segal, eventually ending the night at the Gen Lux fall issue release party and DTF.

FYF Fotobomba (To be continued...)

Don't we all just love playing victim to the photobomber? Photobomber, not unibomber.
Here are some photos of festivalgoers from "Babe Ruth" to Bradford Cox's doppelganger at the fiery pits of FYF Fest.
Tycho, James Blake and Beirut ftw!
